
Kateřina Javorská
Dr. Kateřina Javorská graduated from Charles University, Prague, in 2003.
In 2007, she obtained her specialty certification in General Practice.
Between 2008 and 2009, she worked as a general practitioner in Essex, United Kingdom.
Since 2009, she has been practicing as a general practitioner for adults in a rural area around Nové Město nad Metují, Eastern Bohemia.
Dr. Javorská is a founding member of the association Mladí praktici (Young Czech GPs), a core member of the Czech GP Society, she is also a member of the European Rural and Isolated Practitioners Association (EURIPA) and since September 2025, she represents the Czech Republic in the International Advisory Board of WONCA.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Javorská serves as a trainer in General Practice and is a postgraduate student in Public Health at the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové. Her professional interests include rural medicine, preventive cardiology, and medical education.
